Project Management (Manufacturing Projects)

Position Title: Project Management Intern

Department: Projects / Operations

Duration: 12 months (with intent to confirm as permanent based on performance)

Location: Manufacturing Facility / Office

Reporting To: Project Manager

Role Objective:

The Project Management Intern will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering and manufacturing projects related to valve production. This role is designed to develop strong project coordination skills in a real manufacturing environment, with the intent to transition into a full-time Project Engineer / Project Coordinator role.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in planning and tracking execution of valve manufacturing projects (ETO / MTO).

· Support preparation and updating of project schedules, milestones, and trackers.

· Coordinate with production, procurement, QC, and engineering teams to ensure timely execution.

· Track material readiness, machining progress, assembly, testing, and dispatch status.

· Support documentation such as project plans, MOMs, risk logs, and progress reports.

· Assist in monitoring costs, delays, and deviations from project plans.

· Participate in internal review meetings and customer coordination (as applicable).

· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to project execution and delivery reliability.

Learning & Exposure:

· End-to-end project lifecycle in valve manufacturing.

· Cross-functional coordination in an industrial environment.

· Exposure to ERP systems, Excel-based project tracking, and reporting dashboards.

· Understanding of delivery commitments, cost control, and customer expectations.

Desired Profile:

· Engineering graduate or final-year student (Mechanical / Industrial / Production preferred).

· Strong interest in project management within manufacturing.

· Good analytical and organizational skills.

· Comfortable with MS Excel; knowledge of Power BI or ERP systems is an advantage.

· Good communication skills and willingness to work across departments.
